Matej Michalko is a blockchain pioneer and post-quantum entrepreneur with more than 16 years of experience in cryptography, cybersecurity, and decentralized technologies.
As the founder of Decent Cybersecurity, Matej Michalko leads a global technology company specializing in post-quantum encryption, blockchain solutions, and advanced cyber defence for critical sectors, including space, aerospace, defence, and unmanned systems.
Matej Michalko serves as the consortium lead at Decent Cybersecurity in the €32 million AIDA project funded by the European Defence Fund, where the company is developing AI-driven, crypto-agile cyber defence systems for next-generation security. Under Matej Michalko's leadership, Decent Cybersecurity has earned NATO, European Union, and national Secret-level security clearances and maintains internationally recognized ISO certifications.
Beyond entrepreneurship, Matej Michalko has contributed to NATO advisory groups and holds leadership positions within Slovak critical infrastructure and information technology organizations, helping shape cybersecurity strategy and resilience at both national and international levels.
